Mumbai, May 10: Bharath Cooperative Bank opened their 88th branch at Kandivli east on Monday morning May 9. The bank's executive president Jaya C Suvarna untied the ribbon and inaugurated the branch.

vice president G T Poojary lit the traditional lamp. The bank's vice president, advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM service, senior director Pushpalatha N Salian locker service and bank's managing director and CEO C R Mulki computerized services and wished prosperity for the bank.

“Faith is bank's security and Bharath Bank is the proof for it. The bank is conducive for the savings of low income group. It is a proud gift for the cooperative sector. May the bank grow to greater heights,” said Raghurama K Shetty.

Guests of honour, social workers Gopal Anchan, Sridhar Salian, Premnath G Kotian, Umesh N Surathkal, Sadananda Poojary, R S Kotian, Suresh Suvarna Andheri, Vittal R Poojary, Jayakar Shetty, Bank's deputy general manager Dr Dhananjay Kumar, senior manager Vasanth Salian, development official Sunil Gujaran, Vijaya Palan, hundreds of customers, shareholders and well wishers were present.

Ullooru Dhananjay Shanti conducted Vastu Pooje, Sathyanarayana Pooje, Dwara Pooje and blessed the gathering. Gangadhar Kalladi distributed Theertha prasada. Chaya Arun Suvarna couple were in charge of religious rituals. DGM and head of the progress department Mohandas Hejmady welcomed, gave details on the service of the bank, introduced the guests and compered the programme.
