Bengaluru, May 10: Results of the SSLC and Second PUC examinations will be announced on or before May 25, announced Karnataka’s primary and secondary education minister Kimmane Ratnakar on
Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, the minister said valuation process of both SSLC and PUC has been already completed.

Editing and correction of answer sheets was yet to be done and will be completed before May 25, the outer date for announcing the results, he said.

He, however, said the SSLC results will be declared before the PUC results.

The boycott of valuation work for answer scripts of the papers by lecturers would have no impact on valuation or declaring results, minister replied to a question.

After the withdrawal of the strike against valuation by the lecturers, the minister said steps had been taken to speed up the valuation process by deputing additional 7,000 lecturers.

"The CID enquiry on question paper leak-out scam is going on. They have arrested main king-pin in the scam Shivakumar,’’ the minister said.

He declared that the education department is contemplating to revoke the suspension of PU Board officials, who were found to be not involved in the scam. "I have directed the officials to carry on internal enquiry against the officials, who were involved in the scam,’’ Rathnakar said.

For every post in Govt or Private Sector, job seekers needs to attend written exam or walk-in-interview or some other means of tests, etc…. Even for getting Passport, we need police verification…. But to become MLA, MP, MLC, Minister People don’t need qualification, experience, police verification, written test, interview, etc, etc….. Why don’t they introduce the law to ask all would-be MLA, MP, MLC or Minister in any State to write written test to pass at least with minimum marks in political science and ethics???? In some Govt owned Companies, like “SAIL” even CAs’ MBA’s needs to write written test to join their Office Team!!!!

Everyday i am going through Daiji news and other Newspapers. It is surprising we have a Education Minister who has given almost given 10 statements regarding PUC results with different dates. From first week he came to last week of May. Now it is high time for our Chief Minister to shift him or shunt him from the cabinet during sidu's reshuffle. Now the ball is in Sidus Court to decide.
