Kasargod, May 17: One person has died and four people have been injured as a result of a collision between an Omni van and a KSRTC bus near Manjeshwara
Hosangadi on Tuesday evening, May 17.












The deceased is identified as Abdul Azeez (55) from Uppala Hidayathnagara. He was the driver of the Omni van. The injured who are the residents of Uppala have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

The bus was on its way to Mangaluru from Kasargod while the Omni van was heading to Uppala from Talapady. The seriously injured travellers in the Van were pulled out with great difficulty by the local people and rushed to the hospital.

The van has been badly damaged.

Manjeshwar station police arrived and conducted inquest.

    RTA India, Please don't allow Omni Vans on Roads. Its my request. Please. I am against this van. This has NO SAFETY at all! Please someone read my request & forward to the right people. This van can be used inside big Factory premises or at big construction sites for goods transport!
