Her father has been staying in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Bhutan, Uganda, Mumbai, Hubli and Tumkur and Shreya was studying in English and inevitably opting for the languages in those places as the second language.

The parents who saw the education circus of their daughter till the ninth standard decided to get her tenth standard education in Kundapur itself. Shreya stayed in the house of her grandfather accompanied with her mother and took up Kannada as the second language.
