Mangaluru, May 20: District BJP has urged Karnataka minister of health, U T Khader, who is facing allegations of selling sub-standard quality medicines at exorbitant rates, to submit his resignation
BJP district spokesperson and former MLA K Jayarama Shetty in a press communication stated that the corruption in the sale of Rs 1,250 crores worth sub-standard medicines is now public and the minister is unfit to remain in his post. “Therefore the minister should accept moral responsibility and resign from his MLA post and ministership,” he stated in the communication dated May 20.
“Minister Khader from Ullal constituency had received an opportunity to be the minister for the first time. As he misused his position and involved in corruption, he has made the people in the constituency, hang their heads in shame.” stated K Jayarama Shetty.
