Kasargod, May 24: The violence which had started after counting of votes in the Vidhana Sabha elections has continued in the district. Miscreants have set fire to two autos of BJP workers here at late Monday night, May 23.
The auto parked in the yard of Uliayathadka Chettunguli resident Ganesh’s son Sudhakaran was set on fire. The fire has also damaged their concrete terrace.
Sudhakaran was the BJP booth agent during elections at Chettunguli. It is said that the fire was set in revenge.
The auto belonging to BJP activist Sudheesh, son of Uliyathadka Chowki road resident Krishna Gatti was also set on fire by the miscreants. The Auto was parked in their yard.
BJP leaders K Surendran, Ravish Tanthri Kuntaru, K Srikanth, P Ramesh and B M S leader A Keshava visited the place. Vidyanagara police have arrived and conducting investigation.
