June 25, 2016, Bengaluru, DHNS : A 28-year-old married man who was planning to get married for the third time on Friday, was thrashed by his two wives, before he was handed over to the police.
The suspect has been identified as Vajresh, a cab driver.
Vajresh had married a 20-year-old woman from Doddaballapur in 2014 and was living in Rajarajeshwarinagar with their four-month-old baby.
He claimed to be a bachelor and married another 20-year-old woman from Hoskote and kept her in a house in Nagarbhavi. She is now pregnant, said the police.
Vajresh, who recently lured a 19-year-old woman from Kaggalipura by promising to marry her, cheated her. She lodged a cheating complaint against him. Unable to manage the two houses, he had brought both the wives together and stayed in the house in Nagarbhavi. There used to be regular fights between the two. The woman from Kaggalipura also started to visit the house often, forcing Vajresh to marry her. The two wives lost their cool after he gave his consent for the third marriage and handed him over to the police on Friday morning, police added.
The suspect had introduced himself as Vajresh to his first wife and Dhananjay to the second one. He often collected contact numbers of women, claiming to be a bachelor and developed relationships with them, said the police.
