Bengaluru, Jul 4: As the differences in the state Congress cool down, former minister Ambareesh who had sent his resignation through his assistant for MLA’s seat after getting angry for having lost the position of minister has hinted at backing down from his decision to resign.

Speaking after holding discussions with AICC Chief Secretary B K Hariprasad who had arrived to persuade him not to resign, he said that after seeing the goodwill of the people in Mandya, it appears that he acted in haste with regard to the matter of resignation. “Therefore, I will be announcing my final decision in the presence of Mandya residents”, he said.
