Mangaluru, Jul 6: Muslims from the coastal belt of Karnataka and other districts celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday, July 6 with joy and devotion.
The faithful flocked to mosques in city early morning for special Eid prayers.
The famous Idgah Mosque at Light House Hill witnessed a huge congregation of Muslims and other well-wishers.

Bhatkal, Jul 6: People of Bhatkal celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with religious fervour and enthusiasm here on Wednesday July 6. As Idgah was not suitable for Eid prayers due to rains Eid prayers were offered at Juma Masjids.
Moulana Abdul Aleem khateeb at Jamia Masjid. Moulana Khwaja Moinuddin Akrami Nadvi at Khaleefa Jamia Masjid,Moulana Niyamatullah Askeri at Maghdoomia Masjid, Moulana Ansar Madani at Tanzeem Millia Masjid,Moulana Zakariya Barmawar Nadvi at Madeena Masjid and Moulana abdul Ahad Fakarde Nadviled the prayers.

Eid celebration at Udupi Hashimi Masjid
Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated at Hashimi Masjid , Nairkere, Brahmagiri, Udupi, with huge gathering. Mass prayer was led by Moulana Hashim Umri followed by symposium. Huge number of ladies also joined the mass prayers. Sweets were later distributed to non muslim brothers and sisters in the surrounding areas.

Muslim community members celebrated Eid-ul Fitr with enthusiasm and splendor on Wednesday morning here.
Kundapur Jamia Mosque Khatib Abdul Rahim Lathif led the festival Dua and Namaz. Community members hugged each other and exchanged feast greetings.
Muslims who came in a procession from Jamia Mosque till Edga maidan near Parijatha circle offered collective prayer. Children wearing Arabic style clothes were the attraction in the procession. Meanwhile the festival was celebrated in Kundapur and several other places int he taluk.

Kasargod, Jul 6: It was raining since the morning but Muslims participated in Namaz ignoring the rain. Special Namaz and prayers were held in the Mosques.
Muslims later hugged each other and exchanged festival greetings. Special prayers were held in Kasargod, Kumble, Uppala, Badiadka, Cherkala, Manjeshwara and other places.
