Udupi, Jul 12: The members of the district Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged a protest condemning the suicide of two DySPs in front of Clock Tower, here on Saturday July 9.
Prasanna Shetty, state convener, addressing the protestors said, "It is sad that since the past three years, three higher officials committed suicide. The investigation process is going in a very slow manner.
The government should not intervene in the police probe and they should not impose pressure on the police department.
He further said, "In the past years, many cases had closed down without any investigation."
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike demands stern action against K J George and two other higher police officers.
Ramesh Shetty, honorary president, Santhosh Shetty, district president, Ansar Ahmed, district chief president and others were present.
