Kasargod, Jul 18: A Kasargod youngster, who is one among the group of several people that suspected to have separately joined international terrorist organisation ISIS, has sent a message to his family which says that he is happy about his decision.
Mohammed Marvan is the person who has sent the message.
“Some people may call me a terrorist. If walking on the path of Almighty is called terrorism, then I am definitely a terrorist,” the message sent through Telegram App reads in part.
Mohammed Marvan claims that he has sent that message from a place in Middle East region. The exact location from where the message was sent is not yet known. But the intelligence agencies have not verified the location.
“Muslims are being persecuted in Kashmir, Gujarat and Muzaffarnagar. I will help them and then come back home. American and Russian forces kill Muslims including innocent children in this ISIS province. How can I sit at home when Muslim community is targeted?” the message says.
“Almighty will ask me what I was doing when the community was suffering. Did not Prophet Mohammed say that Muslim community is one body? I feel that fighting for the community is my religious duty,” Mohammed Marvan says in the message.
“You people have luxurious items at home like fridge and cars. But there is no electricity here in the ISIS controlled province as it has been snatched by enemies. No one has sent me to ISIS by brainwashing. I came on my own after reading about Islamic State.” The message concludes.
