Parameshwar says Kallappa ended life because of Bajrang Dal activists

Bengaluru, Jul 20: State home minister, Dr G Parameshwar, said that preliminary investigation into suicide committed by Chikkamagaluru deputy superintendent of police, Kallappa Handibag, has found that he did so because of Bajrang Dal activists.

"Two among them have already been arrested. Criminal investigation department has investigated this matter. The real colours of those who were behind this act will be laid bare before the public soon," he added.

Addressing a press conference in the city along with chief minister, Siddaramaiah, in the city on Tuesday July 19, Parameshwar accused BJP of reaping political benefit out of DySP, M K Ganapati's suicide. He stated that BJP is discreetly silent in the matter of Kallappa's suicide.

"As per report, activists of Bajrang Dal, sister organization of BJP, had forced Kallappa to end his life. Once the report is received by the government, legal action will be initiated against the guilty," he stated.

    Who is right and who is wrong is known by none. The only thing that's irritating me isI suicide. Why such brave people are committing suicide, however they are fighting for something, so they have to prove their fight. These kind of sudden death leaving behind mystery is something to be focused. If they had to die anyhow they would not have committed suicide. Their might be something behind it.

    Through vigilantism and hooliganism in public places, the Hindutva outfit has managed to breed a sense of insecurity in malls, shops and residential areas. This generates a demand for security guards, which are then supplied by a company run by the Bajrang Dal’s top leader in Karnataka.
    Even whistleblower RTI activist Vinak Baliga is murdered in daylight.The city can come to halt with single communal kindle fire.
    Once Budhivantara Nadu became breeding ground for fanatic elements.

    Why there is no investigation in line of 'Cobrapost' sting operation?

    Sir,Reshuffle the entire police force for all grades.The citizens of Mangalore hardly trust the honesty and efficiency to their duties.
    So far Congress government failed to take any action against these fanatics who spread hatred.What cost Congress in Maharashtra and Haryana can repeat in Karnataka.

    while i am no one to correct such things, I can only see it (with due apologies) as real disgrace to secular & tolerant mindset of Hindustani's...., nothing but restlessness (AKA intolerance). Remember Congress governed Hindustan for most & better part of post independence history as they were elected by the secular thinking patriots of Hindustan...., if something is wrong in Hindustan's history don't blame congress.., Hindustan is a complex & diversified country.., & Hindustan's history is not emerged since independence.., it goes way back to thousands of years..., There is no point in holding congress responsible for that..., despite having so many diversity Hindustan is still united due to the practice of ethos & tenets of Hinduism(sarva dharma samabhava, vasudhaiva kutumbam, ahimsa parmo dharma) by majority of Hindustani's in its true spirit.
    If any think tank tries to re-define Hinduism with an element of intolerance then i doubt the spirit of unity in diversity has any place going forward.
