Mangaluru, Aug 29: “In the modern times, we are staying away from natural food habits and are making use of artificial foods. With the change in food habits, we are making way for several illnesses. Therefore, we should always be alert regarding health and maintain discipline in food,” said state minister of food and civil supplies, U T Khader.
Khader was speaking after inaugurating Saroj Hospital with Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza the Bishop of Mangaluru, at Rani Abbakka Circle in Ullal on Sunday, August 28.
“The state government has brought about several plans for health. The hospital is opened in the heart of Ullal for excellent treatment. The hospital which was earlier known as Sayyed Madani Charitable trust is changed as Saroj hospital. It will get repute if the patients who come to the hospital are treated with love and affection. Making money should not be the aim of doctors. It is necessary to provide service in human base”, Khader added.
“May the hospital opened in Ullal, the place where people of all religions gather may develop to its peak. The facilities in the well-equipped hospital, started for the benefit of people and to save lives, are excellent. May the aim of hospital owner Dr Gajanana be fulfilled. Allegations against doctors and hospitals are increasing these days. It is necessary that doctors provide necessary information to the families of the sick. Ordinary people should be explained about the illness. No doctors desire the death of the patients.” Khader said.
