Udupi:Has Bhaskar Shetty murder case reached a logical end?

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP/RJP)

Udupi, Aug 30: K Bhaskar Shetty was missing since July 28. His mother Gulabi Shetty had complained about it to Manipal police station the next day. Thereafter the missing case got converted into a murder case. Despite the presence of suspects in front of them, police had failed to collect concrete evidence. Now though the CID team is stationed in Udupi for the past few days, questions still remain. But some sources say CID is light lipped about investigations because it does not want to take any chances. It is only a matter of time before every detail of the case is revealed.

The home minister had assigned the investigation to CID as the police investigation was not satisfactory. As per sources, Karkal ASP Dr Sumana D P who was assigned the investigation in place of CPI Girish had worked day and night to collect evidences. Only the process of linking them was remaining. CID proceeded from where she left.

However if the suspicions should be cleared, the dead body of Bhaskar Shetty should be found or there should be a concrete proof that he was killed.

Meanwhile, there is some unconfirmed news which says that the secret investigation of CID has been concluded now.

It is said that CID DGP H C Kishore Chandra, ADGP Pratap Reddy and DIG Sonia Narang have come to city for the second time. “The case which has aroused curiosity in International circles has been a challenge for the prestige of police and CID. Therefore, senior officials of CID have involved themselves in the investigation,” said an advocate in Udupi.

The court has sent notices to Gulabi Shetty, mother of K Bhaskar Shetty and brother Suresh Shetty for collection of blood samples for DNA test. Gulabi Shetty has said that she has full faith in CID investigations. “CID officer Sonia Narang has personally met me and collected information. Other CID officials have called the family members to Udupi and collected details,” she said.

Sisters of Bhaskar Shetty have said that last rites of Bhaskar Shetty have not been performed even after a month as they do not believe that their brother is dead.

At initial stage police refused to take a complaint from mother, then how can anybody say we have good police force over there, secondly these police has to pay to their higher authorities some bribe to survive in their profession & for position
Hence police can achieve their target in such cases .Suppose if it was poor man's death the problem would hv been solved within a month. Its simply a waist of tax payers money to give such cases to different agencies .Family persons themslfes should decide & come to a conclusion in such type of cases

there was a rumour that some influential swami had approached our home minister to intervene in the case.
RSS had made it very clear that the accused of Baliga murder case will be disowned and will not be supported

Even if the killers are acquitted due to lack of evidence in courts, they have to face final justice by God. Its better for them to accept their crime and get punished here itself so that they can save their soul.

We have a very good Police Force in Karnataka. It is a question of time before the truth comes out. Now that the case is being handled by CID DGP H C Kishore Chandra, ADGP Pratap Reddy and DIG Sonia Narang it is a question of a little time before the culprits are apprehended. I do not know Mr. Kishore Chandra and Ms. Sonia Narang but indeed know Mr. Pratap Reddy. It seems that it is only a question of time before the mystery is solved.

People have short memories. All are working towards that end. This case will go with the wind without any punishment to anybody. This is like Pakistanis commit all crimes but never caught. Hats off to the investigating people and their political masters.
