Udupi, Sep 20: Managing director and chief executive officer of Syndicate Bank, Arun Shrivastva inaugurated bank’s national processing centre in Manipal on Tuesday, September 20.
He also inaugurated the launch of ‘Project Ananya’ NPC’s flagship initiative under Business Process Reengineering pillar on the occasion.
The Ananya project is a flagship programme to provide customers with the ‘best in class’ services while improving and modernising the whole bank.
Addressing the programme, Arun Shrivastva said, “This centre has been set up here as pilot project. The purpose of the centre is to reach the customers and provide efficient service. Syndicate Bank has two national processing centres, one in the north and other in the south being Manipal."
He wished all the best for the entire team and bank officials.
K T Rai, general manager, PI and BPR division, who is in-charge of project Ananya briefed the audience about the salient features of the project Ananya.
Instant account opening will be rolled out to 94 branches across Mangaluru, Udupi and Karwar. It has already been successfully piloted in Bengaluru. This process provides customers with a welcome kit with all channels like debit card, cheque book and internet banking.
Project Ananya has four key pillars - Business process reengineering, digtal banking, sales and CRM and FIR development. Digital channels of the bank are being revamped to cater to the fast changing customer needs.
