Gurgaon, Sep 23 (IANS): A Gurgaon-based businessman extended support of Rs 20 lakh to the family of Naik Sunil Kumar Vidyarthi who was among the 18 soldiers martyred in a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir on September 18.
"We have taken the responsibility to fund the complete education of Vidyarthi's four children -- 14-year-old Arti, 12-year-old Anshu, 9-year-old Anshika, and Aryan Raj, toddler -- up to their graduation, plus Rs 2 lakh every year for 10 years," Sarvesh Kumar Tiwari, founder and Managing Director of a Gurgaon-based communication firm, told IANS on Friday.
Tiwari, hailing from west Champaran district in Bihar, extended his support to the martyred soldier's family on Thursday.
Vidyarthi's three daughters wrote their first semester exams on Monday as their mother waited for the coffin to arrive in their native Boknari village in Gaya district.
