Mangalore: TAPMI Sets New Record in Campus Recruitment

Mangalore, Dec 24: T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) set a new record in recruitment with almost all of its students getting job placements within a few hours during its campus recruitment programme held recently.

A press release stated that a total of 184 offers, including 3 overseas, were taken up by 125 students during the recruitment process.

The institution  followed a dual offer system with an end-of-day acceptance so as to give the students the choice to select the most preferred companies.

As many as 74 companies participated in the recruitment process, offering placements in various fields like finance, banking, wealth management, IT and ITES, consulting, telecommunication, health care, entertainment and infrastructure.

The release further stated that 12 students received pre-placement offers for their outstanding performance during the summer internship programmes.

The average salary offered this year is Rs 7.38 lac while the highest salary is Rs 18 lac.

Several companies like Morgan Stanley, SEBI, Bank of America, Wockhardt  Hospitals, JSW, Big FM, Reliance Capital, Tata Capital, ICRA and others were participating in the programme for the first time, the release stated.
