Selfie gone wrong: UP girl left scalped after hair gets entangled in ferris wheel


New Delhi, Oct 11 (Agencies) : A 16-year-old girl’s attempt to take selfie near a ferris wheel went horribly wrong on Sunday, after her hair got tangled in the wheel and she was left completely scalped.

According to reports, the incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district.

The girl was attending a communal fair when she tried taking a selfie with the ferris wheel, but she got dangerously close, getting her hair entangled on the wheel. She was left traumatised after her hair was pulled out completely in the accident.

A video of the incident shows her friends trying to console her, while the ride organisers try to free her.

Reports revealed that the girl was rescued and is recovering in the hospital.
