Puttur:Talents Day concludes at St Philomena PU College

Puttur, Nov 4: The concluding session of the inter-class cultural competition ‘Talents Day 2016-17’ of St Philomena Pre-University College, here was held at the
college auditorium.

The principal, Fr Vijay Lobo complimented the judges of the competition, namely Vidwan Girish B, Vidhushi Anusha Hegde and design engineer Bhaskar Kulkarni.

On behalf of the judges, Vidwan Girish B congratulated the participants for their marvellous performance on Talents Day. He also complimented the institution for supporting the students in exhibiting their talents through the various programmes.

At the competition, 17 teams from various classes participated. The championship of this competition was bagged by second year PCMB ‘E’ section. The second year PCMB ‘B' section emerged as runners. The first year PCMB ‘A’ section and the second year SEBA ‘A’ section shared the third prize. The first year SCBA secured the consolation prize. Teams from second year PCMC and PCMS obtained a special prize for their impressive performance.

The convenor, Dimple J Fernandes, co-convenors Sumana Prashanth, Manjula K, Viola Pereira, Laveena Santhmayor, Sandesh Lobo, Vijay Maxim D’Souza and Rahul co-ordinated the programme.
