MANGALORE, Jan 8: Flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia will present a concert at National Institute of Technology – Karnataka (NIT-K), Surathkal on Tuesday at 6 p.m., as part of “SPIC MACAY Festival 2008”. Alarmel Valli, Bharathanatyam artiste, will be performing at Manipal on February 11 and at NIT-K, Surathkal, on February 12.

The programmes are: Kathak — Sushmita Bannerjee at NIT-K on January 9; K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Deralkatte, on January 10; Manipal University, Manipal, January 11; Ganapathi High School, Mangalore, January 12 (10 a.m.); and Sharada Residential School, Udupi, January 12 (6 p.m.) Carnatic vocal — M.S. Sheela at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College, Ujire, January 9; Manipal University, January 10; and NIT-K, January 12. Carnatic violin — Ganesh Kumaresh at KSHEMA, Deralakatte, February 5 and NIT-K, February 6. Bharatanatyam — Alarmel Valli at Manipal University on February 11 and NIT-K on February at noon.
