Bahrain: Mega Festival 'Kudlothsava' to Showcase Tulu Nadu Culture

Bahrain, Jan 8: Following the success of 'Kudlothsava 2007,' The Petals International in association with Ultimate Events will organize an Indian mega fair showcasing the tradition and culture of Mangalore on February 22, 2008 at the Indian Club from 10 am.

The event is being organized by the management of 'Nomo Pests.' The programme will be titled 'Kudlothsava.'

About 25 artistes from Mangalore specializing in different arts like music, folk dance and filmi dance have been invited to perform in the event. The main attraction will be the 'Puli Kali' or tiger dance to be performed by professional dancers from India.


Several ministers and dignitaries from India and the Gulf will grace the occasion.

The fair will comprise of food stalls, games stalls, electronic stalls, garment stalls etc. Traditional games like Kabaddi, throwball and kho-kho will also be part of the celebrations.

A floating crowd of over 5000 people are expected to attend the mega fair. A part of the proceedings will be donated to the local charity on the day of the event.
