Bahrain, Nov 11 : Bahrain is all set to host a historic Konkani singing reality show, one of the biggest events to be organised by any Konkani organisations ever on its soil. Konkani Kutam, led by Henry Almeida, in association with Saudi Arabia's Angann Konkenchem led by Arun D'Souza have put in their entire efforts to ensure smooth flow of the grand finale of Gulf Voice of Mangalore - Season 5. Over a 100 delegates from all across the Gulf countries, India, and other parts of the world have already landed in Bahrain.
Six-member musicians' group led by Raj Gopal, undisputed numero-uno master of ceremony Leslie Rego, and the judges have also already arrived in Bahrain.
The event will start sharp at 4 pm on Friday November 11 at Bahrain Cultural Hall, one of Bahrain's state-of-the art auditoriums, which is expected to accomodate around 800 audience. There could be last minute disappointment for the local audience as the venue may not accomodate them if the capacity exceeds. According to the organisers, 95% of the passes are already sold out.
Those who miss the event at the venue need not disappoint, as live streaming of the show will be available on Daijiworld.com from 4 pm onwards (Bahrain time) and 6.30 pm IST.

Due to certain technical issues, Joel Pereira, the music maestro from Mangaluru could not attend the show as judge, instead, Prashant Raj, noted singer from Mangaluru has been flown in to replace Joel. Now the panel of judges will consist of Fr Charles Vas, Anil Patrao and Prashant Raj.
Twelve singers (6 male and 6 female) from six Gulf countries namely the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and host Bahrain will face the challenge to win the coveted Gulf Voice of Mangalore title. Both male and female winners voice will bag Rs 1 lac cash prize each along with the crown.
Stevan D'Souza, the co-odrinator for the event is delighted to see the final touches to the show. "Despite limitations we have done our best, our joint-chairman Henry Almeida has left no stone unturned to make this event a grand success. We are happy to receive delegates from all the other Gulf counties here. We are hoping for a grand show, nothing lesser to previous four seasons.
"Together with the support from co-host Saudi Arabia and all other participating countries we will host this event professionally," said Stevan.
