Mangalore, Jan 12: It was a grand occasion for the old students of St Aloysius College to meet some of their classmates on the evening of 12 January 2008 at the college campus.  A global network of Alumni of St Aloysius College christened as Aloysian Partners International (API) was inaugurated here  at the  St Aloysius High School auditorium . The Alumni of the college,  scattered all over the world had gathered together here for this reunion.
 
Ananthakrishna, Chairman of Karnataka Bank, unveiled the API club. Rajesh Rao released the Aloysian Endowment Document.   Victor Pais spoke about the aims of this club.  Co-founder of Aloysian Partners of North America (APNA) Joe Gonsalves and others were present on the occasion.







Dr Deric Lobo, former WHO regional advisor for Leprosy, Eric Ozario, President of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, Ananthakrishna, Chairman of Karnataka Bank, Ivan Fernandes, founder of 'Ducont', a Dubai Internet City based organization, Rajesh Rao, Founder and CEO of Dhruva Interactive, Victor Pais, Partner of Sigma, a supplier of iron products to American Water Works System and Clarence Pais, advocate and notary were honoured on this occasion for their achievements.
 
The achievements of Vinay Hegde, President of Nitte Education Trust, George Fernandes, former Union Minister, Blasius D'Souza, MLC and Justice J F Saldanha, former Karnataka High court Judge who were absent at the function, were also remembered on this momentous occasion.
 
Earlier, Fr Denzil Lobo S.J., delivered the introductory remarks and briefed the gathering on the present status  of St Aloysius institutions.
