Media Release

Melbourne, Dec 19:
Mangalureans in the city of Australia are blessed to have Konkani mass every second Saturday of the month at St Joseph's Church, Northcote. The whole service starts with Rosary followed by Mass and concludes with novena to the Infant Jesus of Prague. The second part of the celebration is a get-together at the parish house. Saturday November 12 was a very significant day for the Mangalureans, as it marked the release of the audio CD 'Ola Re' produced by Sennon Productions.

The vice-president of Melbourne Konkan Community(MKC) Rony Roshan Valder and Preetham Picardo released the CD in the presence of Fr Prakash Cutinha, parish priest of St Joseph's Church Northcote. Every family that attended the celebration grabbed a CD while the others are waiting for more to arrive from Mangaluru. With the feedback received, the efforts of Shilpa and Stephen along with their troupe have been appreciated. The lyrics have a rich language and the tunes have moved the young very strongly and sung by professional singers.

Mangalureans in Melbourne wish Shilpa and group well and extend their support to them always.
