It is a proud moment for Konkani's all over the world. It is good that we are doing something for our language. It just signifies the importance of our language."

They have come all the way from Mysore, traveling 250km's, for this event. The eight-hour journey has not dampened their spirits.

Leena D'Souza, 43, from the Mysore group says; "We proudly presented Mysore Malige and Kannakambaram to the world. It is exciting to present to project Konkani at an international level. It is well organized. All the groups have practiced well. Singing is excellent. Songs are meaningful. It is a great event. When Eric Rosario is organizing, it is always great."

Pious Saldana, 59, Ex-President of Konkani Christian Association, Mysore says: "I am really proud. It is a great teamwork. It is a common platform, which brings together so many people. We are all working people who took time off for this event. We have been practicing now for more than 60 days. Language has brought so many people together."
