Manchester, Dec 24: KCA UK organised the tenth well recognised Christmas celebration ‘Christmas Boom’ at Britannia County House Hotel Manchester on December 17. This is one of the events of the organisation which has attracted people from different communities to come together and share memorable moments.
















































































The event officially kicked off at 7.30 pm. The famous master of ceremonies, Joseph Sequeira from Warrington graciously began the event. KCA UK president, Santhosh Pinto welcomed the guests, conveyed his wishes and urged them to take complete advantage of all the activities lined up for the evening.
This was followed by carol singing by KCA UK members, Stany Mendonca, a prominent Konkani singer who led the carol singing. A Nativity play soon followed. The KCA UK kids’ put up an amazing performance.
The arrival of Santa Claus brought in all the excitement as he got to the stage and distributed presents to all the children. Benson Moras from Sheffield dressed as Santa and ecstatic music added a thrilling start to the event. This was followed by some exciting games for men, women and kids. Santhosh Pinto brilliantly conducted the games.
Dr Umesh Prabhu – medical director Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, was present for the evening and conveyed his best wishes to the gathering.
Ancita D’Souza, Stany Mendonca and Melisha Barboza exhibited their talent of singing, while the talented KCA UK kids performed a couple of dances, which were well appreciated by the gathering.
Delicious dinner prepared by Britannia House was served, which was well co-ordinated by Martin Saldhana and Kenny D’Sa.
Stany Rodrigues offered sincere thanks to all who worked hard to make the event possible and successful. Stany wished all the participants a Merry Christmas and
prosperous New Year. Ronald Lobo carried out the auction.
The delightful evening continued with lots of lucky draws arranged by team KCA UK. Gacy Banji won the Christmas hamper, Anthony Mary won the prize for guest
of the day, Max Cuthinho from Britannia Hotels, honored the winners.
Raj Francis Pereira and Vinjoy Rego captured the event through photography and video respectively.
In the closing hour of the event, DJ Benson Moras ensured that all participants were engaged in the nonstop dance.
