JD Majethia Launches New Show on Birthday

Mumbai, Feb 9: A brand new venture from one of the leading and famous pioneers from the television circuit. JD Majethia along with writer and co-producer Aatish Kapadia of Hats Off Production announced their brand new venture on television 'Ek Packet Umeed' at 'D Ultimate' in the suburbs.

The party that started off late, had the entire cast celebrating their upcoming project which is set to hit off on NDTV Imagine every Tuesday from 5th February at 8.30 p.m. The occasion also marked his birthday, with a unique set of five cakes that were cut, considering the date as well as the the commencement of his fifth show!

The ensemble of cast compromises of Rupali Ganguly, along with Lubna Salim, Sucheta Trivedi and many others were present at the occasion. 

Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant made a short but eye-catching  entry with boyfriend Abhishek to wish the legend on his much awaited day.

Some of the other celebs from the industry who came in to celebrate were stars from JD's other shows. Also present were Nach Baliye couple Sweta Keswani with fiancée Alex O' Nell, the hose hold famous lady Saakshi Tanwar more popularly known as Parvati, Juhi Parmar. Director Vipul shah with wife Shefali Shah, actor Satish Shah,made a grand but quite a late entry.

After the successful launch, the cast and the guests were seen dancing away to some great music played by the DJ and enjoying themselves to enticing  Indian cuisine and also the mouth watering cake to celebrate JD Majethia's birthday.
