Mangaluru, Feb 4: Volda University College of Norway has invited professor Joselyn Lobo, dean of BSW and Dr Rameela Shekhar, dean of MSW, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, here, to the International Week at Volda University from February 6 to 11.

School of Social Work has an MoU with Volda University whereby Norwegian students come to Roshni for Field Practicum every year.

Dr Rameela and professor Joselyn, apart from discussing present and future collaborations, will deliver lectures on mental health and social issues. They will also visit University of Leuven, Limburg in Belgium and give guest lectures on social themes. During their trip Dr Rameela and professor Joselyn will also attend the Global Alumni Meet of Roshni students in Dubai on February 18.

In its Managing Council meeting held recently, Association of Mangalore University College Teachers - AMUCT - congratulated its former president professor Joselyn Lobo on his accomplishments.
