The boy, who was tossed onto the road due to the force of the accident, suffered critical injuries. He was immediately admitted into a private hospital in the town. However, the boy did not survive for long there, and breathed his last in the afternoon.

Jabbar, Abdulla and Irshad, who were in the goods tempo, were also injured in the accident. All three were admitted into a private hospital here where they are said to be recovering.

St George High School Padavu declared a day's holiday for the institution on Friday as a mark of respect for its deceased student. A complaint relating to the accident was filed at Kadaba station on the basis of a complaint delivered by the brother of the victim.
