Mangalore, Feb 23: City-based petrochemicals and refinery giant Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is understood to have sold 30,000 metric tonnes of naphtha to Petro-Diamond Singapore Pte for shipment in March, informed two traders with knowledge of the transaction.
Revealing the refinery's sale details, the same sources said that the product sold was naphtha to the buyer namely Singapore-based Petro-Diamond Pte. Around 30,000 metric tonnes of naphtha was sold at a price MOPAG (Mean of Platts Arabian Gulf naphtha assessments) plus about $19 to $19.50 a tonne.
The loading of this consignment will be taking place between March 24 to March 26 at the New Mangalore Port (NMP) here.
