Mumbai, Feb 26:  Stanislaus Edwin DSouza Cascia (78),  husband of Ida D'Souza, father of Neil Vinod D'Souza (+ Marita DSouza),  Veena Maria D' Souza and grandfather of Marinell D' Souza, passed away on Tuesday February 26 at his residence at Andheri at 10.30 am. He was born  on March 1, 1930.

He was very active in Konkani movemnents in the yesteryears. He was also the classmate of former union minister George Fernandes, singer the late Jerome DSouza. He was one of the close freinds of Cha Fra D'Costa and Gabbu Urva. He was the companion of Sunny A D' Souza, Felix A D' Souza while working with Poinnari weekly. He was very active member of Doti Virod Songatton (Movement Against Dowry) in Mumbai.
