Bengaluru, Mar 3: Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah, has warned Yeddyurappa that he will soon file defamation case against the latter if the former chief minister continues to issue false statements relating to the diary stated to be containing details of huge sums of money reportedly handed over to Congress high command by state Congress leaders.
Siddaramaiah's tempers appeared to have flared when media persons again on Thursday March 2 brought up the issue of diary containing noting about huge donations remitted by the state leadership to Congress high command.
Perturbed at the same issue coming up before him time and again, the CM quipped as to how can he be expected to respond if the same issue that is repeatedly being raised day in and day out. "Can I give any response if Yeddyurappa keeps telling lies? He keeps lying to people. I am not interested in issuing clarification for such things," he stated.
About Yeddyurappa's threat to file case against him, Siddaramaiah said he is prepared to face it. "I too will file case against Yeddyurappa, who has been making false claims about me. I have already contacted lawyers on this issue," he added.
