I don not know the procedure of FIR. but I have little knowledge that when the FIR is against common man then the police dept not seeking any legal opinion. when it comes to rich people then they want legal opinion. some people always talking about equality & caste system. but why they are not talking on inequality exist based on money power.

Considering recent targeted events against people associated with one political party by another political party, biased complaints to corner someone cannot be ruled out.

Good decision by the police to seek legal opinion before registering FIR.

It is very strange that City police commissioner Chandra Sekhar sought legeal opinion for registering FIR, when the victim himself had submitted the complaint against death threat. It is also strange that the same person is president of SCDCC Bank for past 20 years.
