Mangaluru, Mar 6: In a noble gesture, the city-based United Christian Association gifted a house to a poor family from Nadumane, Kulshekhar at a programme held on Sunday March 5.

Charles D'Mello, who had donated land for the purpose, handed over the house to Renuka and her family. He said that everyone living in this Frad Saib Colony has been following the principle of harmonious coexistence. He prayed to the God to bless Renuka with the best of everything in her life.

Local corporator Bhaskar Moily appreciated United Christian Association for undertaking various schemes for the betterment of poor people. He urged the association to continue with its good work and keep undertaking initiatives aimed at the general welfare of people.

President of the association Alban Menezes, who put in lot of efforts in constructing this house, was felicitated on this occasion.

Charles D'Mello handed over title deeds of the land to Renuka.

Many people living in the neighbourhood took part in the programme and contributed to its success.
