32 killed in Damascus bombings


Damascus, March 11 (IANS): Over 30 persons were killed on Saturday and scores injured in a double bombing near a cemetery here, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Reports in Efe and Xinhua news agencies said at least 32 were dead and tens more were wounded when explosive devices ripped through their buses in the Shaghour area of the Syrian capital, near a big cemetery where Shiite shrines are located.
