The name of Kelarai Parish always has a magical effect on me…..Kelarai where my roots are entrenched ….. especially the first Kelarai Church founded in October 1934 and to which I used to regularly visit and pray along with my late parents during my early childhood days….and now kudos to one and all who are lifting Kelarai’s name and fame to greater heights, all the best to those who are organizing the great play "Jezu Bovarincheo Streeyo" and I am sure the “Miraculous Cross” just at the left side of the main gate of the present church will always protect the Parish Priest and one and all the parishioners of this great church now entering its 75th year!!!!
