Mangaluru, Mar 21: Team Challengers from Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management participated in the SAE International Aero Design West held at Fort Worth Texas, USA and secured the sixth position in the overall Micro Class 2017 Aero Design West. The team members who participated were Probid J Panikkan, Gerald K Antony, Gouse Khan, Amrutha Khandare, Midhun Jyothis, Pranamya, Shilpa, Shwetha and Mohammad Anwar. The team will also participate in the SAE International Aero Design East to be held at Florida in April 2017.
SAE International Aero Design is conducted by Lockheed Martin and Dassault system and 75 teams from all over the world take part in this competition every year.
Chairman Dr Manjunath Bhandary, principal Dr Umesh M Bhushi and the management congratulated all the students who took part in the SAE International Aero Design West at Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
