M'luru: Abducted Kasargod girl reaches Ullal Dargah, safely returns to parents

Mangaluru, Apr 4: A girl from Kotikulam in Kasargod, who was reportedly abducted, reached Ullal Dargah on Monday April 3. The Dargah management committee members provided her solace and arranged to hand her back to her parents safely.

The girl aged 12, was going to Madrasa in the morning when her face was suddenly masked with a cloth smeared with some anesthetic material, it is said. The girl said she became unconscious. She was seated in the train that moves between Kasargod and Mangaluru. When the train reached Ullal railway station, the girl gained consciousness, got down from the train, and began to sob. An auto rickshaw driver, who saw her weeping,  brought her to Ullal Dargah where she narrated her ordeal.

The office bearers of the Dargah contacted the girl's parents. In the meanwhile, her relatives from the city came to the Dargah and consoled her. In the afternoon, her parents came from Kasargod and took her away. Ullal Dargah committee president, Rashid Ullal and other office bearers were present.
