Mangaluru, April 8: District crime intelligence bureau police inspector A Amanulla was awarded the chief minister's award for 2016. He received the award from chief minister Siddaramaiah during the flag day celebrations held on Sunday, April 2.

Amanulla, hails from Bantwal Kelaginapete. He has served in Mandya, Hassan, Mysuru, Uttara Kannada, Coorg and Udupi districts. He is the DCIB Inspector in Dakshina Kannada district at present.
