Mangalore: Wilfy Nite Beats Rainy Weather at Town Hall

Mangalore, Mar 23: Heavy rain and cold weather did not deter thousands of music lovers  from  thronging to the well known Konkani singer Wilfy Rebimbus show held at the Town Hall on the evening of  Sunday, March 23 .

This 242nd Wilfy Nite was organized by the  Holy Spirit Church , Bajal in  aid of its presbytery and  a mini hall.

Singers including Wilfy Rebimbus, Meena, Babitha Pinto, Ivan Sequeira, Prem, Claud, Melwyn, Munita, Rolph, Esther Noronha and Srikanth enthralled the audience through their melodious songs. A total of 17 Konkani songs were sung on this occasion.   Meanwhile, the ever popular  'MEMORI' team consisting of Dolla, Melwyn, Jerome Moras and others, entertained the audience with its collection of jokes.

Pappan composed the music for this show and Lesly Rego compered the programme.

Wilfy Rebimbus was felicitated by the parish council of the Holy Spirit Church. Parish priest Fr Antony Lewis, Vice-president Michael Lobo and Secretary Francis Lewis were present on this occasion.
