Mangalore, Apr 6: Udupi, Apr 6: Landslide victory for any political party in Kundapur Assembly constituency may be an elusive factor in the next election as Congress is succeeded in netting two political leaders who made household names in the constituency through their involvement in social activities.
Sources giving names of the leaders as NK Billava and Jaya Prakasha Hegde have added, BJP and JD(S) will feel the blow seriously but it is unpredictable whether the political chemistry will change the future of the parties in the constituency.

The same source said the the candidature of Hegde is decided to beat the image of Halady Srinivas Shetty to of BJP to whom the Congress has to face,
According to an estimate of political pundits of the constituency, Congress will definitely benefit from Jaya Prakash Hegde’s presence who is known for his benovelance. But it is also highly unpredictable whether he can be an unmatchable weapon of the Congress to tarnish the image of Halady Srinivas Shetty who was protecting the interest of the people of the area.
Kundapur assembly constituency has which received parts of Brahamavar constituency after the delimitation process is also an important factor. This Assembly election is the first litmus test the political parties are facing after delimitation of assembly constituency.
The Congress has to face back breaking hard work in campaign to attract new voters as they are not suppose to relay on traditional vote bank because the fame of Shetty ,who has clean image, has gone beyond the limit of nepotism and saffronism. The winning in the Election will not be a cakewalk for any political party . They have to face hard reality in the newly carved out constituency.
