Mangalore: Enchanting Musical Show by Teenage Sensation Esther Noronha

Mangalore,Apr 13: Ester Noronha, a teenager who has barely answered her SSLC exams has created history in the field of Konkani music through her enchanting singing performance. Her independent performance was held at the Town Hall on Sunday, April 13.
Organized by Mangalore Diocese to raise money for the diocesan medical relief fund, the show attracted a big crowd. She is a good performer of Bharatanatyam dance and an excellent Carnatic musician.
This 15 year old budding talent sung a total of 10 songs and enthralled the whole audience with her mesmerizing voice. Some songs were even written by herself.
Young and up-and-coming singers Vijay and Munita were also rendered thier voices. The comic acts of 'Bindaas' group of Pernal and Dollas' troupe and dances performed by Thunder Guys troupe added flavour to the show. Joby and team composed the music and Lesly Rego compered the programme.
Earlier, Rt Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese presided over the function. Addressing the gathering the Bishop said that Rs 74 lac have been collected for the medical relief fund and Rs 3 lac has already been spent in medical aid.
The medical relief fund will be utilized to help poor patients who are suffer from chronic ailments like cancer, kidney and heart conditions. He added that he finds difficult to help all who approach him . Hence he created this relief fund.
