Fujairah: Honours, Fun, Dance at CCF Third Anniversary Celebrations

Fujairah, Apr 18: Canara Catholics spread around the east coast of UAE gathered in Fujairah Marine Club to celebrate the third anniversary of CCF (Canara Catholics Fujairah) on Thursday April 17, 2008

The programme started at around 9 pm with a prayer from Shanti Fernandes.

 

 

Melwyn Vaz, popular community leader from Fujairah and teacher by profession took charge of the event as compere in his as usual gritty style.

Welcome dance was performed by little Sharl, Janissa and Avita.





















In his address, president of the association Prakash Rodrigues thanked the spiritual director, members, sponsors and all those who supported the association in its journey of three glorious successful years.

Dr Mark Raa and parish priest of Fujairah church Fr Michael were the guests of honour. CCF honoured Dr Mark Rao with a shawl, a memento and citation. Daiji Dubai writers' Forum convener Hemacharya was also present.

Key sponsors of the event were felicitated by president Prakash Rodrigues.

Loads of entertainment events were organized to mark the anniversary celebrations. Dance by little kids, songs, spot games and games for adults were part of the entertainment.
