Bahrain: Kannada Sangha Organises Prince & Princess Contest

Bahrain, Apr 23: Kannada Sangha, Bahrain organized the “Prince and Princess 2008 Contest" for their members’ children here recently at the Sangha premises in the presence of a packed audience. It was a pleasant evening when these little children and teenagers romped the stage, dressed in their very best with grace and poise showcasing their personality all for the coveted crown.
The program was ably presented and organized by the Netravathi Art Unit comprising Sandhya Pai, Kiran Upadhyaya, H K Pai and Chaitra Satish. They gave all their might to bring out the enthusiasm in the children and compering the show with precision. The program was held under the auspices of BKS President, Austin Santosh and his team of Committee members all of whom contributed encouragingly to its success by their presence and efforts.
The competition among the youngsters was tough and the judges had a hard time to select the best among the best in different age categories. Suvasini Shrinivas, Asha Shrinivas and Mahesh Lakhani were the distinguished panel of judges for the competition. They had a word of appreciation for all the contestants.
Added attraction was a spot prize each for the best dressed gent and lady among the audience. The best dressed gent prize went to Nagaraj Rao and the best dressed lady crowned on the occasion was Meenaz Aziz.
