Mangaluru: Student cabinet inaugurated at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Jul 8: The inaugural ceremony of the student cabinet for the academic year 2017-18 took place on Saturday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the college auditorium.

J R Lobo, MLA, Mangalore South, was the chief guest. In his message to the student leaders, and Lobo urged them to do their best in all circumstances and put the urgent needs of society before anything else, and assume collective responsibility for the betterment of all.

The student cabinet comprises 23 members who are elected by the student body. The cabinet is a representational body of leaders at the student level. The student president Mrunali J P took the oath administered by the principal along with the four vice-presidents G Yogyata (commerce), Sapna Karkera (science), Shabna (arts) and Deandra D’Mello (BBA) and 18 members of the student cabinet.



'A leader knows the way, goes the way, shows the way' is the theme that the cabinet has adopted for the year 2017-18.

The vice-principal, PG coordinator, PTA executive committee members, parents and the faculty were present.
