Mumbai, Jun 4: Finally film maker Apoorva Lakhia's highly anticipated film Mission Istanbul, a global espionage thriller, is ready to take off.

His last release Shootout at Lokhandwala was a huge success and lots of expectations are riding on his new film.

The filmmaker says that with its theme of politics and global terrorism he is hoping for another hit in classily stylized and action filled Mission Istanbul where Vivek plays a Turkish comando, Zayed Kahn a Journalist, Niketan Dheer a media honcho and Shabbir Ahluwalia, the terrorist.

Most of the film has been shot in Istanbul which is more than just a backdrop to the dramatic stunts that the leads took very seriously. Apparently no body doubles were used for the dare devil stunts.

And, if stylish stunts don't float the boat, one can look forward to an item number that promises to be really hot as Abhihsek Bachchan matches moves with a sexy bellydancer.
