Mangaluru, Dec 1: In an accident which happened opposite Indiana Hospital near Pumpwelll in the city on Friday December 1 morning, a police bus and a lorry got involved in head-on collision.
The bus in question was bringing Karnataka State Reserve Police personnel to the city for law and order duties while the lorry was moving towards Kasargod with a load of goods.
It is said that the driver of the police bus suffered serious injuries. There is also information about injuries to several people.
The injured have been admitted into different hospitals in the city.
