Puttur, Dec 21: St Victor English Medium Higher Primary School celebrated its 47th school annual day on December 12 in the school premises with enthusiasm and zeal.
Guests and the chief guests were escorted by the school band. Dr Vidya Nambiar and Ravi Damodar Shenoy, the chief guests expressed their happiness to be alumni of the school and shared their vision for the institution. School headmaster Harry D’Souza presented the annual report and highlighted achievements of the students.
The winners in the area of academic, sports and various competitions received prizes from the guests. The chief guests were felicitated on this occasion. Correspondent Fr Alfred John Pinto appreciated late Msgr Antonty Patrao and urged the parents to inculcate values in children.
The formal programme ended with the vote of thanks.
The cultural programme began with a welcome dance. The tiny tots of LKG and UKG exhibited their talents through the dance. Every class gave their performances with grace. Most of the programmes were inspired by culture, moral education, films and nationalism. This added new height to the function. The function ended with a Tulu dance by the school faculty. All programmes were anchored by the students.
