Mangaluru, Apr 15: Adhvithi Shetty, one of the emerging talent in the Kannada film industry is all set to make her debut in Tulu movie titled 'Illokkel' directed by Dr Suresh under the banner Sri Gajani productions.
Adhvithi Shetty will be playing the lead role in her Tulu debut 'Illokel' where she plays a role of an architect. 'Illokel' movie also stars Aravind Bolar, Bojraaj Vamanjoor, Naveen D Padil, Chandrakala Mohan, Sathish Bandale, Mime Ramdaas, VJ Vineeth and Vismaya Vinayak.
Adhvithi Shetty, daughter of Yathiraj Shetty and Nanda Y Shetty hails from Bejai. Adhvithi Shetty is proud alumni of St Aloysius College and Manipal Institute of Management.
Prior to coastalwood, Adhvithi Shetty along with her twin sister Ashvithi Shetty made her debut in blockbuster Kannada movie 'Mr and Mrs Ramachari' starring Yash and Radhika Pandit. Twin sisters were later seen in Kannada movie 'Suli' along with veteran actor Srinath.
Adhvithi Shetty was seen in cameo role in Puneeth Raajkumar starrer 'Dodmane Huduga' too. Adhvithi also starred in web series titled 'Bangalore Queen' which was viewed by 2, 20,972 people in YouTube.
The young diva has been involved in a small screen production, a daily soap 'Eradu Kanasu', which is being telecasted on Star Suvarna and has received positive response for her acting skills and onscreen presence.
Adhvithi, was crowned as Miss Mangalore Beautiful Hair in 2013 and Miss Grandeur International in 2014. Adhvithi Shetty is also seen in ads for Vasan Eye Care, Flipkart and Clean India.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Adhvithi Shetty said, "Am very excited to make my debut in Tulu movie titled 'Illokkel' because I will be learning new things from this team. More importantly it’s my mother tongue so am excited about that too. I consider both Kannada and Tulu film industry as the same. At the end it’s about acting and giving my best. The role in 'Eradu Kanasu' was more related to me and I had wonderful experience during the shoot. The most memorable and best moment of my life is I got opportunity to work with veteran actors like Jayanthi and Chandrashekar."
Speaking about her upcoming projects, Adhvithi Shetty said, "I will be working in Kannada thriller titled '#1888 themovie" and 'Girgitle' which is at the verge of release. Now am working in a Tulu movie titled 'Illokel' which is a story about an architect, it’s a comedy oriented movie and will turn out to be an entertainer for the audience."
She also said, "Am getting offers from Tamil, Telugu and I have not taken up anything yet, am just going with a positive note, let us see what's going to happen next. I need Mangalurean and people of Karnataka to support in whatever language movie I do."
