Panaji, Sep 5: Chief minister Digambar Kamat released a booklet titled 'Gomant Ganesh', which has been published by the department of information and publicity of the State government on Friday September 5. The department has printed 10,000 copies of the booklet for free distribution for the people of the state. The booklet contains important information about the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which is celebrated every year with great fervour across the state.
Speaking on the occasion Kamat mentioned that the booklet is intended to provide an insight about the Chovoth festival and hoped that it would prove to be handy for the Lord Ganesh's devotees as it had a compilation of popular arti's which are sung during the festival. Nikhil Desai, director Information and Publicity was also present on the occasion.
